This Privacy Policy explains how Ends & Picks ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit our website, join our waitlist, book a measurement appointment or place an order. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and delivery addresses.
• Body measurements and fit notes: the measurements, height, weight, posture notes and fit preferences you give us or that our fitter records, so we can cut your shirt.
• Order details: the designs and options you choose, what you buy, and your order and alteration history.
• Payment information: payments are handled by our payment partners. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as the last four digits of a card) but never store full card numbers.
• Communications: messages you send through our contact form, by email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use the website, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use it

• To make, alter and deliver your shirt, and to keep your measurement profile for future orders.
• To process payments, prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
• To respond to your questions and provide customer care, including our Perfect Fit Guarantee.
• To send you updates about your order, and, if you have opted in or joined the waitlist, news about new fabric runs. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:

• Shopify, which hosts our store, and our payment processors;
• our tailoring workshop and fitters, who need your measurements to make your shirt;
• courier and logistics partners, who need your name, address and phone number to deliver it;
• service providers for email, analytics and customer support; and
• government or law-enforcement authorities where the law requires it.

These partners may process data outside India. Where they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data stays protected.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the store and remember your cart, and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work without them.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your measurement profile and order history for as long as you have an account or continue to order from us, so future shirts fit as well as the last. We keep invoices and transaction records for as long as tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your profile at any time.

6. How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of any breach as the law requires.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
• delete your data, where we no longer need it for the purpose it was collected or a legal obligation;
• withdraw consent you have given, for example to marketing emails; and
• nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.

8. Children

Our website and products are not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data without verifiable parental consent.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
